Who we are

Vantaseer builds pricing intelligence software for the car rental industry. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website, vantaseer.com. Vantaseer is the controller of that data. You can reach us at hello@vantaseer.com.

This policy covers the marketing website only. If your company uses our product, Vantaseer View, the handling of data inside the product is governed by the customer agreement between your company and Vantaseer.

Information we collect

This website collects very little. There are two categories:

• Email you send us. The site has no forms or accounts. If you contact us by email, for example to request a demo, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, company, and message.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these to keep the site running and secure.

We do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies, and we do not build visitor profiles.

How we use information

• To respond to your message and arrange a demo if you asked for one.
• To follow up on a conversation you started with us.
• To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our website, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our email, such as our hosting and email providers, and only so they can provide those services to us. If a provider processes data outside your region, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as the conversation is relevant, for example while we are in contact about a demo or a potential contract, and delete it when it no longer is. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vantaseer.com and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
